Agripino V. Uy

Agripino Vista Uy, affectionately known as “Boy” or “Bob” to all who loved him, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 85, in the comfort of his home in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He was surrounded by the love and presence of his devoted family.

Born on June 23, 1940, in the Philippines to the late Ramona Vista and Victorio Uy, Boy lived a life rooted in love, sacrifice, and quiet strength. In 1969, he made the courageous journey to the United States in hopes of building a better future for his family. A year later, his beloved wife and three children joined him, and together they made a life full of hard work, laughter, and deep family bonds.

Boy dedicated over 30 years of service to Queens General Hospital in New York. He was a steady, reliable presence — the kind of man who showed his love through his actions, who worked tirelessly, and who always put his family first. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Tarpon Springs to be closer to their children and grandchildren, who were the joy of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Adelaida “Dolly” Uy, with whom he shared a lifetime of unwavering love and partnership. He is also survived by his daughters, Adele Kregler and Arlyne D’Andrea along with his son in-laws Frank & Lenny and  his cherished grandchildren: Joseph, Robert, John, Thomas, Nicholas, and Matthew — each of whom carries a piece of his gentle spirit.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find peace in knowing he has been reunited with his beloved son, Lyndon, who passed in 2023. The bond between father and son was deep, and we believe they are together once again, watching over us.

Agripino will be remembered for his humility, his quiet wisdom, his deep love for his family, and the steady foundation he provided throughout his life. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.
