Aleck was born on September 2, 1958 in Daytona Beach, FL to Tacko and Bernice Alissandratos. Aleck dabbled in many ventures; a serial entrepreneur. He was an excellent cook known for his famous chicken salad sandwiches and great beef jerky. He was proud of his Greek heritage as well as the Tarpon Springs community and culture. He loved the water, boating and his beloved Donzi. But most of all, Aleck was so very proud of his children.
