Andreas Dimitrios Salivaras, 80, longtime resident of Tarpon Springs, passed away on May 18, 2021. He was born in Kimolos, Greece, and came to Tarpon Springs in 1984 from Cleveland, Ohio. He was the owner and operator of Mykonos Restaurant on the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. He is survived by three children, Demetri Salivaras, Sofia (Anthony) Zaronias, Kiriakoula Salivaras; two brothers, Dean Salivaras and Stavros (Flora) Salivaras; one sister, Smaragtha (John) Tsouchlis; six grandchildren, Irene (George) Dennison, Nichole Pastis (Arsany Nagib), Kostandinos Salivaras, Renee Zaronias, Katerina Zaronias, Savvas Zaronias. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to, Tarpon Springs High School Band, Jacobson Culinary Institute, Tarpon Springs Historical Society or to St Nicholas Cathedral Youth Ministry. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7, on Friday, May 21, at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The funeral service will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, May 22, at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment to follow at Cycadia Cemetery. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
