Anna V. Faklis, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Anna is survived by her loving family, her five siblings, Connie Economos, Nick Faklis and his wife, Anna, Michael Faklis and her sister in law Katie. Her many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family will greatly miss her. Anna is predeceased by her parents, Vasile and Dikea, sister, Fran Tulumaris, and her husband, Tony, brother in law, Theo Economos, and brother, George and cousins Michael Faklis and Faye Spanos.
Anna was an office administrator at Stauffer Chemical for thirty years and lovingly worked in the family business, Faklis' Department Store & Shoe Repair, most of her life. Anna was very talented and creative. Her family cherished the wedding pillows she made, the afghans she crocheted and her beautiful embroidered pieces. She lovingly made koufeta for her nieces and great niece; always with love in her heart.
Services for Anna will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs on, Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Visitation (Trisagion) will begin at 10:00 am and services will begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral Restoration Fund.
