Bernice (Koundouriotos) Alissandratos

Bernice (Koundouriotos) Alissandratos, 96, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on, January 4, 2022. She was born in Washington D.C. to Nicholas and Helen (Kanakis) Koundouriotos.  She grew up in Athens, Greece and returned to the U.S. as a young woman, to work in the Greek Consulate in Washington D.C.  After living and working in D.C. for some time, Bernice came to Tarpon Springs where she met and married her late husband, Tacko. She is survived by two sons, Alexander "Aleck" Alissandratos and Niko Alissandratos; and three grandsons, Andrew, Michel and Jared Alissandratos. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 am, on Saturday, January 15, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, followed by interment at Cycadia Cemetery and a Makaria in the St. Nicholas Church Hall next to the church.
