Bobby E Ammons

Bobby E. Ammons, 53, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on February 26, 2022. He was born in Tarpon Springs, to his parents, Bobby F. and Jean E. (Mueller) Ammons, who both passed away when Bobby was a young boy. He graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1987. He was a certified residential elevator mechanic and had worked for Sunrise Elevator Company for many years. Bobby had many passions, including mud and drag racing.  His love in life was working on fast motors. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roscoe Ammons and Chuck Ammons. He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Carney; his four legged companion and best friend, Bella; one brother, Dan Ammons; one nephew, Michael Ammons; and lots of kids that love & respect him, who have grown up calling him, "Uncle Bob". A celebration of life gathering will take place on Saturday, March 5, from 3:00 to 6:00, at the Elks Lodge in Tarpon Springs.
