Charles Ross Obituary
Charles "Charlie" Edward Ross, 71, of Hudson, passed away on January 24, 2025. Charlie was born in Winter Haven, Florida to his parents, William and Elizabeth Ross. He graduated from Tarpon Springs High School and he worked at Plaza Dodge in Holiday for many years. Charlie was involved with automotive and marine work all of his life and was a master mechanic as well as an expert in paint and body work. He was co-valedictorian of the police academy and worked in loss prevention. He loved fishing, boating, and just being on the water.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Elizabeth Ross; one brother, Bob Ross; one sister, Susie Hoffman and her husband, Rick. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Hope Caldwell Ross; sister, Mary Ann Williams; sister in law, Jan Ross; two nieces, Ashlie Brierley (Chris), their children, Callie, Ross, Chloie and Jennifer Olsen (Chris), their children, Emma, Charlotte, Ross; and many longtime friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
