Daniel A. Benoit, Sr.

Daniel A. Benoit, Sr., 86 of Hernando, Florida, formerly of Buford, Georgia, passed away on August 24, 2024. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to his parents, Harold and Laura Benoit. He moved to Florida on a whim when his children were little and loved the movie "Gentle Ben," that was filmed there. He made a great life there for his wife and children for many years. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Beverly "Bev" Benoit; and one daughter in law, Karen Benoit. He is survived by his loving family which includes, two sons, Dan Benoit and Kevin Benoit (Karen); one daughter, Michelle Benoit Trahan (Randy); four grandchildren: Kristen Benoit McCall (Kevin), Danny Benoit (Danni), Sydney Trahan, Jake Trahan; two great grandchildren, Lincoln McCall and Banks McCall.

Graveside services will take place at 12:30 on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Cycadia Cemetery in Tarpon Springs.
