Donald Claude Schiffler

Donald Claude Schiffler, 73, of Gulfport, passed away, August 29, 2020. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Robert and Martha (Reed) Schiffler, and moved to Gulfport 37 years ago. He was a talented carpenter. Donald loved hiking, music, cars, computers, birds, fish and his rescue cat Magellan. He loved his wife of 35 years, Carol; his children, Donnie Schiffler, Devon (Cherril) Wolf, Dustin Schiffler, Douglas Schiffler, Dylan Schiffler, Dennis Schiffler, Deanna Wolf (Pat McLaughlin), Dana Schiffler; his brother, Danny Cox; his grandchildren, Murphy McLaughlin, Roman Wolf, Dakota Schiffler, Dalton Schiffler. A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in his memory. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
