Doris Henderson Harding, 94 passed away on April 29, 2024. She was born in Lyons, Georgia to Pearl and Sheppard Wilkes. Moving to Ozona, Florida at the age of five, she lived in the Palm Harbor-Tarpon Springs area for the next 90 years. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Cliff and Pearl Lipsey and her son, Paul Henderson. She is survived by her son, Kenny Henderson (Nickollet); two daughters, Karen Henderson (Glenn Osoling) and Kim Stephenson (Mike); brother, Leslie Lipsey; sister, Cheryl Hatcher (Harold); as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. As a graduate of Tarpon Springs High, she was voted the “Wise Owl''. She successfully owned and operated Henderson Groves for over 40 years. She was a forty-five year member of the VFW Auxiliary, serving as both President and Treasurer of Posts 1658 and 2550. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22 from 2-4 at the Ozona Hall. Donations can be made in her name to Suncoast Hospice.
