George Korfias

George Korfias, 86, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on July 29, 2024. He was born in Gary, Indiana to his parents, Theofilos and Sevasti Korfias. George was a building inspector for the City of Tarpon Springs for many years. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Antonia Korfias; two children, Theofilos Korfias and Sophia (Dan) Schooler; four grandchildren, Danielle Korfias, Danny (Mikala) Daskalakis, George (Stephanie) Korfias, T.J. Korfias; two great grandchildren, Sophia Korfias and Gianna Korfias. Visitation will be held from 11 to 12, with the funeral service starting at 12:00, all on Wednesday, July 31, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment to follow at Cycadia Cemetery.
