Jan Robin (Ruth) Hardee

Jan Robin (Ruth) Hardee, 70, passed away on June 13th, 2024. She was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida to her parents, Douglas and Patricia (Hamill) Ruth. She lived in Tarpon Springs her whole life. A graduate of and cheerleader at Tarpon Springs High School. Jan loved her hometown and all of the people in it. She was a founding member of Trinity New Life Church, and worked at First Christian Academy for the last decade.

Jan was preceded by her father; brother, Douglas; and granddaughter, Gracie. She is survived by her husband, Bill Hardee; mother, Patricia Hamill (Ruth); brother, Eddie Ruth; daughter, Kelly Bell (Clayton); step-sons, Joshua Hardee (Elizabeth) and Jeremy Hardee (Brooke); nephews, Dustin Ruth (Megan), Trey Ruth, Riley Ruth; niece, Lydia Ruth; grandchildren, Skye, Forrest, Jamison, Coy, Caroline and Camden.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, June 22 at the First United Methodist Church, 501 East Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. Interment following at Cycadia Cemetery.
