John Joseph Kiwala, 97, a long time resident of Tarpon Springs, passed away May 13, 2025. He was born in Tonawanda, NY and is survived by his children: John (Jana) of Tallahassee, Steven (Sondra) of Hudson, Theresa (Dwayne) of Tarpon Springs, Catherine (Ty) of Spring Hill and Deborah of Centerville. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Vivian (Pinkard), his parents John and Blanche; sisters Helen and MaryAnn; brothers Frank and Edward. John was an Air Force veteran of WWII and Korea, a member of American Legion Post #42, and Tarpon Historical Society. He was a genealogist, historian, author and artist. He was a member of St. Ignatius Church over 60 years. Graveside services and Air Force Honors will took place at 10:00 am, on June 16, 2025 , at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, Florida.
