John Alexandros Himonetos, 39, lifelong resident of Tarpon Springs, passed away, April 29, 2021. He was born in Dunedin to, Alexandros George and Mary (Koulias) Himonetos. He grew up in Tarpon Springs and graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 2001. John was a bridge painter, along with various other jobs and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and sports, especially the Miami Dolphins. He loved his nieces and nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Koulias Himonetos. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Alexandros and Kathy Himonetos; one brother, George (Stella) Himonetos; four nieces and nephews, Tula Himonetos (also Goddaughter), Alex Himonetos, Pantelis Himonetos, Mairi Himonetos. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00, with the funeral service starting at 2:00, all on Tuesday, May 4, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment to follow at Cycadia Cemetery. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
