Katherine (Ergas) Moses

Katherine Ergas Moses, 87, died peacefully on, February 17, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. From the arms of her daughter, to the arms of the Angels, Heaven received a beautiful,  loving kind woman. She became whole again. What a wonderful promise our Father God gives us.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Khalil Simeon Moses and Demetri Joseph Moses; her father,  Demetri Ergas and her mother, Nomiki Kouremetis Ergas. She is survived by her daughter, Nomiki Moses Knox, son in law, Justin E. Knox; grandchildren, Joseph E. Knox, Justin K. Knox, Jake A. Knox, Khalil Simeon Moses; great grandchildren, Julian Knox and Emma Reece Knox; her brother, Michael Ergas, Pat Ergas; nephews, Jimmy Ergas, Grabriel Ergas and Michael Ergas; and many loving family and friends.

Katherine a native of Tarpon Springs, Florida. She attended Tarpon Springs High School, then later met her future husband from Nassau Bahamas and moved there. Katherine was a member of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, as well as the Annunciation Greek Orthodox in Nassau Bahamas, where she was active with the church and the Daughters of Penelope. She also worked with special needs children in the Bahamas. The Bahamas was her home for many many years, then she returned to back to her home town, Tarpon Springs, where she had many family and friends. Most of all, Katherine will be remembered  for her unending love for her family and friends and her loving kind heart. She will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00, on Friday, February 24, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
