Lynnette Rogers, 54, passed away on May 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with ALS, surrounded by loved ones in her home. She was born on November 4, 1968 in Clinton, Iowa to Julie and Steve Kramer. She worked for many years alongside her husband, Mike Rogers, at their business, American Custom Guttering.
Lynnette’s passion for the water was evident in everything she did. She spent countless hours boating and sitting poolside. She also enjoyed spending time at their Cabin, specifically rocking on the front porch taking in the beauty.
In 1991 Lynnette met Mike, and they were married 25 years. “In 91’ I met the ONE.” Together, they had one child, Nathan Rogers. She was a devoted wife and parent, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent with them. She is survived by her husband Mike, her son Nathan, her two sisters, LeAnne Wallace and Jacquie Rachel as well as her nieces and nephews.
Lynnette was known for her infectious laugh and her determination in all she did was admired by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
A celebration of life will be held on June 17, 2023 at Reddys Retreat at 129 Lake Side Dr. Palm Harbor, FL 34684.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Team Gleason or ALS Association. Both organizations helped greatly during her fight with this terrible disease.
To Lynnette, we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light she brought into our lives. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to honor her memory by living our lives to the fullest.
