Maria (Manias) Billiris

Maria Manias Billiris, age 80, beloved sister, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Friday, December 16, 2022 , in the family home where she grew up.

She was born October 22, 1942, in Tarpon Springs, Florida, to Michael and Theodora ( Tsourakis) Manias. She graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1961.  She later married and moved away for a short time before returning to Tarpon Springs in 1979 to raise her children where she grew up.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn (Theofani) Koulianos; sons, Michael Angelo (Vicki) Billiris and Theodore Angelo (Becky) Billiris; and her five precious grandchildren, Tommy , Maria, Noah, Theo, and Nathan.  She had a heart of gold and a never - ending love for her family and friends.  The love she showered upon us and especially her grandchildren was boundless. May her memory be eternal.

Visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 and funeral service starting at 1:00, all on Thursday, December 22, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment following at Cycadia Cemetery. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge arrangements.
