Maria (Arfaras) Annexy

Maria Arfaras Annexy, 77, long time resident of Tarpon Springs, passed away on June 8, 2023. She was born in Tampa, to her parents, George and Helen (Cretekos) Arfaras. She was a real estate investor. She loved to play tennis and was Junior Orange Bowl Champion in 1958 and won a silver medal in mixed doubles in the Pan American Games in 1975. She is survived by one son, Jorge Annexy; one daughter, Lydia Annexy; two grandchildren, Ava Hylton and Oscar Hylton. The funeral service will be held at 11:00, on Monday, June 12 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Entombment at Cycadia Cemetery following.
