Michael Kirk Cowan

Michael Kirk Cowan, 68, of Zephyrhills, passed away March 19, 2025.  Michael was born in Tampa on May 30, 1956 to Donald Kirkwood Cowan and Robbie Faye (Yarbrough) Cowan.  He resided in the Tampa area for all of his adult life.  He enjoyed spending time with friends, and tinkering with vintage cars. He was an endless source of interesting stories and a friend to all he met.  Mike never met a stranger and will be missed by friends too numerous to count.

Michael is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jayne Cowan; sister, Tracy Fugleberg (Stephan); nephews, Nathan Fugleberg (Kelly), Shane Laughridge (Michele), James Fugleberg; niece, Stephanie Fugleberg; and cousins, Mitch Cowan and Teresa Cowan. Special thanks to Larry (Popcorn) Witt, for his endless strength and support.  

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life on April 5, 2025 between 2-4 PM at the Ramblewood Village clubhouse located at 38210 Vinson Avenue, Zephyrhills, FL 33542.
