Michael Charles Green

Michael Green passed away suddenly at his home in Florida on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Mike was born to Jill and Colin Green in Nottingham, England in 1960, and he, his parents, and younger sister Sue moved to New York in 1967. Mike married Lori in 1982 in Fremont, California and their children, Andrea and Sean, were born while they traveled the world while Mike was in the U.S. Army. The family got to spend a lot of time overseas exploring Europe before settling in Maryland in 1993. Mike never met a stranger- he made friends everywhere he went and talked his way into pretty much anywhere he wanted to go. In his younger years he loved playing sports-soccer, rugby, basketball, anything he could join in on and have fun doing. Later in life, he was an avid ski instructor, golfer, beach enthusiast, and dog lover and wanted to see everything there was and explore every day. He loved his grandchildren so much-his phone is filled with pictures of them. He was preceded in death by his father, Colin. 
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lori; his mother Jill; his daughter Andrea Adams and her husband, Joshua; his son Sean Green and his wife, Stacey; his sister Susan Boyles and her husband, Chris; and his grandkids, Brooke, Caroline, Gabriel, and Juliet.
Graveside services with Army Honors, will take place at 1:00 pm, on Friday, February 17th at Bay Pines National Cemetery, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
