Mona M. (Field) Miller, 94, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on, January 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Shepherd, Michigan, to her parents, Arthur and Esther Nora (Cazier) Field. She graduated from Shepherd High School, class of 1945. Mona married, James (Jim) Miller, in 1946, and they moved to Tarpon Springs in 1958. She worked for Mease Hospital for 30 years and was also a member of the First United Methodist Church, in Tarpon Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Miller. She is survived by one son, Jim Miller, and his wife, Ann; two daughters, Wanda Alderman, and her husband, John, and Ann Budney, and her husband, David; eight grandchildren, Chris (Bobbie) Robertson, Kim (Mark) Lake, Cory (Tina) Miller, Crystal Mazza, Andrew (Ashley) King, Michael (Jenna) King, Anthony Gomillion, Vanessa Gomillion; twenty two great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00, and the service will begin at 6:00, all on Tuesday, January 11, at the Michels and Lundquist Funeral Home chapel, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey. A graveside service will be held at 11:30, on Wednesday, January 12, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Season's Hospice.
