Rachael Elizabeth Cox

Rachel Elizabeth Cox, 35, of Holiday, Florida passed away on October 1, 2025. Rachel was born June 6, 1990, in Rockford, Illinois to Greg Cox and Sheila Grafstrom. As a young girl, she loved her pets, spending time with her cousins, swimming, shopping, and staying in Pecatonica with her Grandparents. Rachel moved to Florida in 2005, she graduated High School and worked for CVS. Currently, she worked for Advent Health Hospital North Pinellas as a Pharmacy Technician. 

Rachel's greatest Joy in life were her children. She loved being a Mom to her boys, Brennen and Bentley, and her niece, Kyley. She loved making their birthdays & holidays special, taking family trips, and proudly watching their school activities and events. 

Rachel Cox is survived by her Father, Gregory Cox; Brian Antonio; Sons, Brennen and Bentley Antonio; Niece, Kyley Clark; Sister, Aleasha Grafstrom; Brothers, Carsen & Caeleb Cox; Aunt and Uncle, Joe & Cari Ernzen; Cousins, Kyle & Isaac Ernzen, along with family and friends that will never forget the love she brought into their lives. 

Rachel was predeceased by her loving Mother, Shelia Austin in 2011, after a courageous battle of breast cancer. Maternal Grandparents, Bill & Doreen Grafstrom; Family Pets, Syd & Ruby; Beloved Grandparents, Jerry & Queenie Cox; Dear Friend and Coworker Jacklyn Doezie. 

Special Appreciation to Rachels' work family at Advent Health Hospital, and church family, Faith City, for their love, care, and support over the years. 

A memorial service will be held in Holiday, Florida and Pecatonica, Illinois. Columbarium at Pecatonica Cemetery.
