Robert Alonzo Faison

Faison, Robert A. Faison (Bob), 85, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on, January 30, 2021, surrounded by those he loved.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Sadie Faison; his sisters, Marjorie Copeland & Tina Butler. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Penelope Katsaras Faison; his sons, Bobby (Lisa) Faison and John (Dawn) Faison; his grandchildren, Theresa Faison, Andrea Faison & Robert Faison; beloved nieces and nephews. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. After the Army, he worked for Florida Power, the Department of Transportation and eventually retiring as Vice President of Golden Triangle Asphalt Company. He touched the lives of many through his service in the Jaycees & Tarpon Little League. He will be forever in our hearts!  Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs on Thursday, February 4th, with a visitation from 10 to 11, and funeral service starting at 11:00. Interment will follow at Cycadia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite veteran’s charity or the Suncoast Hospice. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
