Robert Andrew Needham

Robert A. Needham, 56, of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away unexpectedly on June 8th, 2026. Rob was born in Orlando, Florida to his parents, Royce and Cynthia (Valdez) Needham.

Rob will be remembered as a kind soul with an infectious smile, who loved to fish and be on the water. Robert almost always had a fishing pole in his hands or some plan to go fish. He loved cooking for loved ones and spending time with friends. He spent quite a bit of time with his friends at Rusty Bellies with his dog carbo. 

Rob dedicated himself to making others feel happy and deeply cared about. He was a genuinely kind and generous person who loved with his heart and would do anything for anyone.

Robert is survived by his mother, Cynthia Needham; his brother, Paul Needham and his sister in law, Shannon; as well as his many nieces,  nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed.
 

A memorial mass will begin at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Roberts name to Tampa Bay Watch, an organization focused on marine and estuarine conservation rebuilding reefs and restoring coastal habitats.
