Ryan Andrew Stankovich, 29, of St Petersburg, Florida passed away unexpectedly but peacefully of natural causes in the comfort of his home on May 9th, 2026.
He will be remembered as a gentle giant, who loved sharing meals and spending time with his family, listening to music, and swimming in the ocean. He was an endless seeker of knowledge and enjoyed exploring the world through reading, documentaries, and video games. Ryan was fascinated by many world religions; it allowed him to have a deep understanding and acceptance of people from all walks of life. If you couldn’t find him, he was likely in his room tinkering with a wide array of computers or electronics.
Ryan dedicated himself to making others feel accepted and deeply cared about. Despite many struggles of his own, he never allowed them to define who he was or dampen his spirit and would always be on standby with a listening ear and to give the best bear hugs. He was a genuinely kind and a generous person who loved with his whole heart and would quite literally give you the shirt from his back and had done so on many occasions.
Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Stan and Laura Stankovich; sisters, Aubree Rose and Melissa Stankovich (partner Lukela Kalama), his Grandma Houssian, as well as his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was one of a kind and will be truly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held on May 23, 2026. In lieu of flowers, please celebrate Ryan’s life by extending kindness to another; whether through a helping hand, or a generous gesture.
