Stergos George Stergos (aka Spero George Spero), 78, of Port Richey, passed away, June 4, 2019. He was born in Tampa, and was a US Navy Veteran, and a sponge diver. He is survived by sons, Stergos, of Sarasota and George, of Tarpon Springs; daughter, Irene Stergos, of Sarasota; brother, Michael; sister, Mary Rodgers; 9 children; 2 great grandchildren. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00, on Monday, June 10, at Vinson Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00, on Tuesday, June 11, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Graveside service 1:30, on Wednesday, June 12, at Sarasota National Cemetery.
