Susan M. Delaportas, 86, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on August 12, 2022. She was born in Greece and moved to New York in 1945, before moving to Tarpon Springs in 1966. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Philoptochos and the Hellenic Benevolent Association. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Pinellas County Schools and St. Nicholas Sunday School and their book store. She is survived by one son, Rio Delaportas; one daughter, Louisa Delaportas; one sister, Chrysanthy Perlegis; three grandchildren, Alexandra Artzner, Pete Delaportas, Nicholas Artzner; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Saints, Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church or to the family Greek Orthodox Church in Ithaca, Greece. A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00, with the funeral service at 12:00, all on Tuesday, August 16, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Interment to follow at Cycadia Cemetery.
