Vivian (Pinkard) Kiwala of Tarpon Springs passed away on August 25, 2023. Vivian was born in Quincy, Illinois to Maurice and Angela (Kahs) Pinkard. Upon graduation from Notre Dame High School in 1956 she moved to Tarpon Springs with her family. She and her husband, John
were avid bowlers, met at Tarpon Lanes, married in 1961 and raised 5 children. Vivian was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Angela; her sister, Catherine; nephew, Maurice; and sister-in-law, Patty. She is survived by her husband, John; children, John (Jana), Steven (Sondra), Theresa (Dwayne), Catherine (Ty), and Deborah; grandchildren, Jack, Bo, Ella, Chloe, Dylan, Michael, Mandy, Zoey, and Emma; brothers, Marvin, Lawrence (Joan); nephew, Andy (son Ryan); niece, Bonnie (daughter Sirena) and niece, Kristin (Alex). Vivian was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church for 67 years. She shared her love of God, reading, gardening and baking with family and friends, and especially loved watching her grandchildren make the world a better place. A small family service with burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation to Sunset Hills Elementary Library would be appreciated.
