Yvonne K. Smirlis passed away Saturday, February 25th, 2023.
She was born in Tarpon Springs, FL to her parents, John and Irene Klimis.
Mom, you were our rock, our guide, and our friend. You kept us in line and took care of us first.
You are the strongest woman I know.
It isn’t fair, you having to go.
You taught me to be happy in simple ways,
And showered us with kindness and praise.
We will never forget you, your brilliant smile,
Always happy and fun, that was your style.
Now the lord has called you home,
I am sad but not alone.
I feel your hand on our backs telling us it’s ok,
Today we honor you and wish you could stay.
We love you so much, our hearts are broken,
But find peace knowing that God has spoken.
“No more pain for Yvonne,” he said,
It was time to leave as I kissed your head.
You need to know how we love you so,
You’re in our hearts and minds forever; through us your spirit grows.
It’s time now to say goodbye,
As you become an angel and we cry.
Your grace, kindness, and compassion in the sky above,
It lives within all of us and fills us with love.
We love you so, so, much. You exist here and everywhere. Go have fun now. You deserve it.
I love you. XOXO
